Notes
"As part of a pollution settlement with Attorney General Eliot Spitzer, NRG recently announced plans to replace some of the older, more polluting, coal-burning boilers at its Huntley Station in Tonawanda with a 630-megawatt Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle power plant." This project faced financing hurdles and when the New York Power Authority pulled its support, the project was abandoned.
