The Surry County Commissioners have cut off all communications with Fibrowatt due to community opposition to increased health risks from emissions from this incinerator that would burn poultry litter and waste wood. 45 physicians, 12 pharmacists, over 93% of all businesses responding to a Chamber of Commerce survey, the majority of all vineyard owner and many citizens spoke out in opposition. Fibrowatt would not answer questions posed by the County Commissioners related to safety and misleading facts.
