planned for a 20 acre site west of Clyde, Ohio plant would burn trash and plastics $21,298,000 in stimulus money awarded (see p4 of "Recovery Zone Bond Allocations" link) The project is apparently planning to bypass the usual EPA permit process to speed construction. See link to "Waste district wary of Clyde plant" article. 9/16/2011: awarded permit to build a natural gas power plant; still talking of converting it to a trash burner "The company actually received permission in September 2010 to build the power plant at 1357 McPherson Highway, but those plans were scrapped because of problems with a railroad right-of-way."
