Notes

A coalition of utilities attempted to site ten nuclear reactors and ten coal-fired plants (20,000 megawatts on a single site in PA). They were proposed along the nothern tier of the state. Citizen opposition at all proposed sites stopped them. The term is again in use where numerous new reactors are proposed in the Southeast (mainly in South Carolina).
