Former CL&P South Meadows coal facility, repurposed in late 1980's for trash burning. Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) delivered by conveyor from processing facility directly to the south. While closed in July 2022, there is talk in 2024 about reopening a trash incinerator at this site.
