Notes
As of May 2009 Sithe Global states that this project is still moving forward. This coal proposal replaces the wirthdrawn proposal for a natural gas plant. This plant is proposed for 12 miles northwest of Mesquite, in the southern part of Lincoln County. This plant would burn powder river basin coal. In May 2008 Sithe let its water supply contract for the plant lapse.
