ReEnergy plans to re-open it in Dec 2014. The 2012 US Biomass Power Map shows the Boralex Ashland plant as idle. Using a two-drum boiler with a traveling grate stoker, a combination particulate control system, and a hog fuel handling system with covered storage. The plant was built in 18 months for original project developer Alternative Energy Inc. Installed capacity: 40MW, Average annual production: 240GWh
