RDF sourced from Newport and Elk River, Minnesota From SWMP: "Part of the waste generated from within the County is currently managed through the Minnesota Waste Processing Company (MWPC) Transfer Station in Mankato. Waste collected at MWPC is then transported to the Newport Resource Recovery Facility and processed into refuse derived fuel for use at the Wilmarth NSP Power Plant in Mankato."
