Approved for $11,690,566 Incentive Tax Credit under Section 1603 of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act. This plant used to burn coal and was converted into a biomass plant, becoming operational in August 2009. Burns 400 tpd mineral fiber ceiling tile scraps from CertainTeed, which uses its steam for production. Also burns willow trees, paper plant by-product, landfill diversion wood, and wood bark and chips. Formerly named "J.H. Warden Generating Station"
